To begin with, you get a 16.4 feet long cable. It must be said that many users avoid cables that are this long because they could get difficult to control. However, that is not the case with Fantronics, as the semi-rigid cable is actually pretty usable even though it’s very long.
The entire device is IP67 waterproof, which means you can use it to inspect areas that might be damp or wet. We wouldn’t suggest dipping it underwater though, because even though it has a decent rating, that might damage it and you don’t want to do that. The diameter of the camera is 8mm, which is on the border of being too thick, but we still believe it’s a good size for it to be practical. The thickness is thanks to the wide viewing angle of 70 degrees, as well as the 8 adjustable LEDs that surround the camera lens. For the best image, you should be between 2 and 4 inches away from the object you’re looking at. The resulting video is going to be in HD quality, though, which is pretty nice. (1)
